Post #1- Why I read

Why I read. That is a good queestion. I think the top reason I read is because  I'm not aloud to at home. Here's the thing my parents would rather me watch TV than read a book in my room. And I would rather read in my room  then watch TV. But yes I do watch Tv once in a while. For me, reading is when you can let go of all your problems and see into diffrent worlds. I personally like sad yet I can't put the book down type of books. And in the video with the Barnes & Nobles peoiple asking rambom strangers why thy read i love the reason the little girl gave. That when you read you make up the charecter you imagine them in how you see them. And that's probably the reason why people read the book before the movie there disapointed because it isn't how they originally saw the book in there mind. And its like a mini TV. Another reason I read is that I forget about my life. Yes my life is good, but on my down moments i imagine myself in the book being the character. Haveing a marvoulous life. Or when I'm sad reading helps me forget why I'm sad and reminds my of my happy moments in life.
